O’Donnellan & Joyce, which last week announced its Wild Atlantic Way spring property auction for April 21, has now increased the property count to more than 50 properties for sale in the auction.

O’Donnellan & Joyce has a selection of starter homes and larger family homes for sale in its upcoming Wild Atlantic Way auction on Friday March 3. Anne Harding, senior sales agent and auction co-ordinator with O’Donnellan & Joyce, said: “There’s great value in the March auction with a nice variety of homes to suit first time buyers or families looking to upsize. O’Donnellan & Joyce reports that 2016 was its most successful year to date regarding the volume of sales since the company opened its office in 1982. The Galway city centre estate agent reports that it sold close to 650 residential and commercial properties in 2016 by private treaty and public auction. Colm O’Donnellan, one of the principal partners of O’Donnellan & Joyce, said: “Prices are still about 35 per cent below the peak of the market of 2007 and the number of transactions recorded in 2016 is well in excess of anything recorded since the slump.”

The final auction of 2016 for Galway auctioneer O’Donnellan & Joyce is set to take place tomorrow, December 16. The hammer is set to fall 40 times in the company's Wild Atlantic Way Christmas auction, commencing at 2pm at the Harbour Hotel, New Dock Road, Galway.
